CLEVELAND, Oct. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MMA fighter Brian "The Predator" Rogers is participating in a unique fan-centric training program that gives fans the chance be on TV and walk Rogers out of the cage during the Oct. 26 Bellator 78 fight. Not only is Rogers a Bellator MMA fighter, a partner at ICE Block Cooler, and a retired special needs preschool teacher, but he is also an advertiser's dream because he has the ability to connect with his fan base. In his latest venture he has partnered up with Fund-A-Fighter, a fan based crowdfunding site. His campaign will deliver 50% of the profits back to the special needs school (LEAP) that he worked for and the remaining funds will go towards his fight training budget. Both the charity and MMA fans are the winners because some of these donation kickbacks are quite personal and awesome. Kickbacks include walking Rogers to the cage, being seated ringside, getting a VIP invite to the after party, having Rogers attend a personal event with the fan, receiving autographed gear, and getting some of his awesome sponsored products like the ICE Block.
Fund-A-Fighter offers fans a venue to help develop their favorite fighters while at the same time getting an opportunity to personally get involved in their favorite sport. Come on, how many fans have dreamed about what it is like to walk to the cage before the fight and feel the energy of the crowd? How many fans have wanted to be a VIP for the after party and hear about all the details from the fighters themselves? Dream no more, fund a fighter and see for yourself.
Rogers will be showcasing his product the ICE Block Cooler during Bellator 78 and the after party. The ICE Block Cooler is a series of products that keep cans, bottles, party shots, and wine & liquor bottles cold. The original ICE Block is colder than ice and can even keep opened drinks cold down to 28F. All of the versions feature a powerful blue glow and a look that makes them the life of the party. Like many of Rogers' projects, the ICE Block Cooler is also involved with charity and is a licensed provider of Autism Speaks merchandise. 10% of all Autism Speaks logoed cooler sales are donated to Autism Speaks.
