Moda Operandi Names Ashley Bryan as Chief Marketing Officer

 

NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Online luxury retailer Moda Operandi has appointed Ashley Bryan as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. Bryan will report directly to Aslaug Magnusdottir, Co-Founder and CEO.  Bryan will lead the international marketing operations of the fast-growing retailer as it focuses on expanding the global customer base and the site's overall customer experience.

Bryan was most recently at Net-a-Porter as the head of marketing and sales for the United States, a position that she was the first to hold. Before Net-a-Porter, Bryan was vice president of marketing for the BCBG Max Azria Group.

Ashley Bryan succeeds Lexy Schmertz, who has been named Chief Business Development Officer. In her new role, Schmertz will be responsible for developing domestic and international partnerships and strategic alliances to continue to grow the membership. Schmertz will continue to report directly to Magnusdottir.  This appointment follows the recent announcement that Moda Operandi has hired Roopal Patel as Fashion Director and Taylor Tomasi Hill as Artistic Director.
