Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and ShadeCraft to Offer Training Programs in Robotics

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRKF) has signed a partnership agreement with Los Angeles-based robotics and technology start-up, ShadeCraft, to offer a series of training programs in robotics.
The key objectives behind the agreement are to identify and pursue donors and funding partners to help implement projects pertaining to the field of robotics in the UAE; organize workshops supported by ShadeCraft in the jurisdiction of "technology and Android specialists" open to students in schools and universities, as well as to relevant government and private entities; provide support for the Foundation's projects in the UAE; share information, experience, materials and skills to develop effective working practices and identify solutions to mitigate risk and reduce costs; and, finally, to provide sufficient and appropriately qualified resources for the projects.

As per the terms of the agreement, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation pledges to grant ShadeCraft preferential consideration as an implementation partner for its top-tier technology-related projects, and to invite ShadeCraft to the Foundation's sponsored events, workshops and fairs.
Meanwhile, ShadeCraft will flag potential third-party funding opportunities to the Foundation and initiate discussions regarding a possible partnership – in addition to inviting the Foundation to its sponsored events, workshops and fairs.
