Montgomery McCracken Eyes Growth Ahead of Centennial Anniversary in 2012
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Montgomery McCracken is currently working on plans to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2012, but the law firm has its sights squarely on the future including moves to expand its geographic footprint and service offerings to position for growth in its next hundred years.
Chairman Richard Scheff said today the firm plans to announce its entry into a significant new market as well as other moves designed to enhance service to clients and grow the firm's business. Details will be announced this fall.
"There is a revitalized energy here with new matters coming in across many of our practice groups and an eagerness among partners and staff to see that we take even greater initiative into the next century," Scheff said.
The firm has been seeing an increase across the board in new matters ranging from Fortune 200 companies to the middle market. The firm's growth plans are intended to help it meet the challenge of providing exemplary legal service to a diverse client base in an increasingly complex and demanding environment.
The firm plans to celebrate its Centennial Anniversary during 2012, with key events planned around the founding date of March 1. Events are expected to involve clients, alumni, staff and their families, and the public at large.
