Moodlerooms and Internships.com release Moodle Integration

BALTIMORE, Jan. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Moodlerooms, Inc. and Internships.com, the world's largest internships marketplace, today announced the release of a custom block that integrates job search and career building tools and resources directly into the open-source Moodle LMS and Joule, Moodlerooms' enterprise Moodle platform.

The integration gives students access within the course platform to search and apply for over 65,000 active internships from more than 28,000 companies. Included in the block are a suite of career tools such as a resume builder and an assessment test that evaluates personal preferences and offers recommendations for open positions. Students can also take advantage of a social media integration that enables student job seekers to leverage Facebook as a professional network to find jobs and get introduced to hiring companies.

The block supplements institutional career placement and counseling offices while supporting and following all existing institutional policies and practices.
