SEATTLE, March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mor Furniture for Less, a prominent home furniture retailer in the Pacific Northwest since 1983 is expanding its furniture store offering with a new Lynnwood location. The new Seattle area furniture store is now the company's 24th showroom and joins its largest in Kent, Washington.
Thursday's grand opening of the new location is being held when it opens to the public on Alderwood Mall Blvd, just east of 44th Street in Lynnwood, Washington. First customers to the new store will receive special offers only available during the grand opening celebration.
This is currently the second furniture store in the Seattle market for Mor Furniture for Less and joins others throughout Washington and Oregon, in service for nearly 30 years.
The company's first bedroom showroom opened in 1983 with the Spokane store, and quickly expanded into Portland and Seattle by 1986. After successfully offering the best prices in bedroom furniture, Mor Furniture for Less transitioned to also offer that same value in living room furniture and dining room furniture throughout the West Coast.
In 2005, the Seattle furniture stores were consolidated into one giant 100,000 square-foot furniture showroom with a 100,000 square-foot warehouse, located in the south Seattle area of Kent, Washington. The Kent showroom continues to be the company's largest furniture store across all seven states.
On Thursday, the company is growing again with another Seattle area store, in Lynnwood, Washington, now its 24th home furniture showroom. This new Mor Furniture for Less store will better service residents throughout the Northern Seattle market.
The new Mor Furniture for Less store is located off the 5 Freeway at 4029 Alderwood Mall Blvd, just east of 44th Street in Lynnwood, Washington. Starting on Thursday, it will be open from 10am to 9pm, Monday through Saturday and 10am to 8pm on Sunday. Serviced by the Kent warehouse, customers will benefit from the furniture retailer's same-day delivery and pick-up options.
The furniture shopping experience will be like at all other Mor Furniture for Less stores, with free fresh-baked cookies, popcorn, soda and coffee. Family movies are shown on the TVs throughout the store for kids to enjoy while Mom and Dad shop.
Mor Furniture for Less, established in 1977, is the largest family-owned and operated furniture company on the West Coast with 24 stores in 7 states, offering the best value in bedroom, living room, dining furniture and mattresses.
