The renovation is expected to begin in the summer of 2012 and be completed in time for the football season in the fall of 2013.
The renovated stadium will enhance the game-day experience for Kansas State Fans through a series of enhancements including: a new student-athlete dining hall and commissary; a "Hall of Honor" within a wide main concourse; improved concession and restroom facilities; customer-friendly ticket office and a new team store; a unique "Tailgate Terrace" for Ahearn Fund members to enjoy pre-game, at half-time and post-game; a University lounge & event space for game day entertainment and year-round events; upgraded media, a broadcast and operations level providing enhanced television and technology capacities; and multiple premium seating opportunities including approximately 40 private suites, 36 loge boxes and 800 club seats.

"This project will advance K-State to the next level in intercollegiate athletics while upholding their commitment to current and prospective student-athletes, Wildcat Fans, and the Big 12 Conference."
"The revitalized stadium will undoubtedly make the University and K-State Fans proud," said Jim Johnson, president and CEO of GE Johnson Construction and K-State Alumni. "The project will be managed by experts in sports construction and a construction team with a passion for K-State, which will result in a great home for Wildcat Football."
