Motor Press Guild Members To Tour Hot Rod Hall Of Famer Chip Foose Design Headquarters
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., March 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Motor Press Guild Members and their guests will get a personal tour of the studios of Foose Design in Huntington Beach, CA by none other than Chip Foose himself on Thursday, March 31, 2016, as well as an exclusive look at his upcoming projects as he shares his story on 30 years of design and fabrication.
The renowned designer will open the doors to Foose Design on the 31st of March to MPG members from 3:00-5:00 p.m., unveiling a legacy of designs and accomplishments that are well beyond his years. Having grown up in a family where cars and design were an everyday occurrence, Chip successfully applied his talents into the automotive design field, building a reputation for his keen eye and fabrication skills, resulting in many award-winning and internationally renowned vehicles. He was quickly recognized for his commitment to the auto industry through his induction as the youngest member ever into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame in November 1997. He also became co-host to the popular show Overhaulin' for many years, which made Chip a household name.
"We are looking forward to visiting Chip's operations in Huntington Beach at the end of this month and seeing what he's presently working on," stated Jason Fogelson, President of the Los Angeles-based Motor Press Guild. "Virtually every member of the MPG knows Chip, if not personally, at least his reputation and his many vehicles, so this is a real treat to be able to see his design studio and get a personal tour of the facilities and hear Chip's reflections on the incredible impact he has made and will continue to make to the automotive industry."
"All of us here at Foose Design are excited to welcome our friends from MPG to our design studio," exclaimed Chip Foose, founder, owner and head designer, Foose Design. "Motor Press Guild's dedication to spread the latest and greatest in automotive news makes them indispensable in the industry and I'm both grateful and very much looking forward to showing them our newest project portfolio here at the studio."
