Mountain House Community Association Filed Suit Today For Faulty Construction against Pulte Home
MOUNTAIN HOUSE, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif., Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A large-scale community association filed suit today for numerous construction defects and building standard violations. The Cambridge Place Owners Association is a 255-unit residential community located in the master planned community of Mountain House, an exburb of the San Francisco Bay Area. In July, 2012 the Association put the builder, Pulte Home Corporation, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, on notice of the common area problems through California's pre-litigation statute commonly known as "The SB 800 Process."
Attorney for The Cambridge Place Owners Association, Thomas E. Miller , CEO of The Miller Law Firm, states, "Pulte Home Corporation was extremely responsive to the Association's building defect notice. Together with counsel for Pulte, a joint investigation and early mediation is fully expected. With this cooperation, we anticipate the Association's claims to be fully resolved within 18-24 months."
According to Rachel Miller , Senior Partner of The Miller Law Firm, "Associations do have a resource when faced with potential building claims. In a matter of a few weeks, we were able to provide them with enough information and independent expert input to be able to take their claims to the builder."
