MSB Announces Its Full Second Quarter 2010 Training Schedule Including a First-Of-Its-Kind Green Training Offering

Green

The first-of-its-kind green valuation training will be available for valuation professionals to define what green is and what its implications are. The two day, in-depth green training will allow appraisers to earn 14 hours of CEU credits and to earn the National Green Valuation Specialist (GVS) designation.

The training will cover site and design, energy, water, minerals, indoor environment quality, maintenance & operations, green and energy efficient mortgages, the greening of the MLS, green appraisal standards, marketing & branding green, and tips for greening your business. MSB has partnered with PorterWorks to provide this training. The training will be provided through in-person sessions in MSB's facility in Tyler, Texas, on May 12 and May 13. Attendees will be able to receive the following two MSB whitepapers on green:

1. Green Building Trends Challenge Appraisers, Realtors, and Insurers
2. The Greening of the Building Market

Claims

The IntegriClaim® training series will give you a quick start to writing claims with IntegriClaim®. MSB's claims estimating software, IntegriClaim® is based on the Windows© operating system and contains four estimating modules: Residential, Commercial, Mobile Home, and Casualty. Within these modules are data entry screens, digital photography features, importable/exportable database features, and virtual reality estimating menus. IntegriClaim® may also be used to send an editable claim, including digital photography, over the internet.

16 hours of class time is included and classes will take place in MSB's New Berlin, Wisconsin, and Tyler, Texas, locations as well as through instructor-led sessions over the web.

The EyeQ® t training will help you start writing estimates quickly with EyeQ®. IntegriClaim™ EyeQ® Edition is a knowledge-based system that enables property claims staff with varying degrees of experience to generate estimates that are consistent with those of the best claims professionals in the industry. EyeQ® features several core modules with optional interfaces that are fully scalable and customizable to meet your needs, including adaptable workflows, item assemblies, and a business rule engine.

4 hours of class time is included and classes will take place in MSB's New Berlin, Wisconsin, and Tyler, Texas, locations.

The Repair Cost Express (RCX) training will help start you on your way to producing repair cost reports with RCX. RCX enables real estate agents, asset managers, property preservationists and others in the mortgage servicing industry to produce repair estimates based on the same, continuously updated, nationwide costs used by national insurance carriers and claims specialists.

1 hour of class time is included and will take place through instructor-led sessions on the web.

Underwriting

The RCT Express™ Main Street/MMH course covers the basic valuation process for both main street and mobile manufactured homes within the RCT Express™ system, including administration/user information, technical support, creating a new valuation, and finding existing valuations.

4 hours of class time is included and will take place through instructor-led sessions on the web.

The RCT Express™ High Value course covers the basic valuation process for homes over $650,000 or over $900,000 for pre-1930 homes, including administration/user information, technical support, creating a new valuation, and finding existing valuations.

The BVS course will allow the user to enter in commercial and agricultural valuations within the BVS Express™ system. The class covers the entry of information used to create both commercial and agricultural valuations. This includes the initial creation of the building, designating what occupies the building through the creation of sections, and verifying and modifying the materials used in reconstructing the building.
