Myriad Group to Power Sunplus Technology's High Definition Home Entertainment Portfolio

DUBENDORF-ZURICH, Switzerland, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Myriad Group AG (SIX: MYRN), a global leader in mobile and home entertainment technology, today announces a new customer win with Sunplus Technology, a leading provider of multimedia IC solutions to home entertainment platforms and high-definition home entertainment products. Sunplus will utilize Myriad's Jbed CDCA software for their Blu-ray turnkey solution as well as integrate Myriad's Browser V9 and Dalvik Turbo solutions to enhance their home entertainment portfolio throughout the APAC region.

Marking Myriad's continued growth in the home entertainment products arena, Sunplus will combine Myriad's Jbed CDCA software with their Blu-ray technology to offer one turnkey solution to customers in the first half of 2011. Myriad's Jbed CDCA is an industry-leading Java™ ME platform that enables consumer electronic device manufacturers to build, deploy and run Java applications seamlessly on any kind of communication device, delivering fast start-up and response times while keeping memory footprint and power consumption to a minimum.
