NADA Convention Las Vegas Tech Rumors Swirling, According to Applied Network Intelligence

There's been buzz this year about mobile technology innovation from Pearl Technologies. A new auction tool is expected as vAuto continues to gobble up small companies and market share. We've seen glimmers of new integration improvements from the DealerTrack and Manheim camps after the DealerTrack acquisition – more than one of their engineers has been heard lamenting the long hours in the run up to NADA. Perhaps the most interesting tidbits are coming from DealersLink tweets boasting game changing secret projects from their "black ops development team":

While DealersLink CEO Mike Goicoechea has been prone to bold claims in the past, his innovations have backed them up with product launches that are actually innovative.

DealersLink has been a perennial first mover in many spaces so we always keep an eye on them. Their first to market product list is impressive from their dealer-to-dealer used car market, a live no fee auction launched last year, and VIN scanning and mobile booking apps.
Connecting the dots… A.N.I. saw DealersLink CEO Mike Goicoechea let the cat out of the bag in a recent CBT News interview saying, "DealersLink members will get a sneak preview of MotorCloud, a next generation cloud based retail site to compete directly with AutoTrader, Cars.com, and TrueCar."
