The 2011 Regal is powered by a 182 HP direct-injection 2.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine that achieves an estimated 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.  Buick will also offer a 220 HP 2.0-liter Ecotec turbocharged engine on the Regal CXL Turbo model later this year.  The 6-speed automatic transmission and Driver Shift Control make switching between manual and automatic modes just an exciting tap away.  The Four-Link Independent Rear Suspension is designed to decrease the weight of the car and enhance response, providing a smooth ride "fit for a king."  

Buick designed the Regal with a luxurious twist, welded together with a sporty technology feel.  On the interior, the smooth, leather-wrapped steering wheel and 12-way power heated seats offer a very comfortable drive.  Adding to that comfort is the Auto Dual-Zone Heating and Air Controls, which allow the driver and passenger to set their preferred temperature levels.  The Regal definitely does not skip a beat when it comes to personal technology features, which are all well-illuminated with ice blue ambient lighting.  Making the technology user friendly, Buick included a multi-function controller that helps to optimize the main menu and controls specific to the operator's chosen function: Navigation, Audio, Phone, or Destination.  The Bluetooth Connectivity, ONSTAR, USB port for MP3 devices, and Voice-Activated Navigation are clear indications that Buick knows all about modern advanced technology.  The main screen is perfectly placed at the top of the dashboard, allowing the driver to control all features while keeping a safe eye on the road.  

Technology also assists in maintaining driver and passenger safety.  Buick has equipped the Regal with two safety features that help the driver maintain full control and complete stability in all road conditions:  StabiliTrack with Traction Control and Anti-Lock Brakes with Brake Assist.  Additionally, the 2011 Buick Regal includes  Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist and  complete airbag protection in front, back and on all sides.
