NGC ALSO MARKS THE 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OF JACKIE AND JOHN F. KENNEDY BY RELEASING FIRST TEASER OF GLOBAL TELEVISION EVENT

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, September 12, 2013, would have been the "diamond" wedding anniversary of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy & John Fitzgerald Kennedy. To mark the occasion of what would have been their 60th wedding anniversary, the National Geographic Channel announces the premiere date of KILLING KENNEDY for Sunday, November 10, 2013 in the United States to be followed globally in 171 countries and 48 languages, timed to the 50th anniversary of the assassination.

Today's announcement also includes the first teaser for the film, based on the best-selling book by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard.

KILLING KENNEDY stars Rob Lowe (President Kennedy), Will Rothhaar (Lee Harvey Oswald),
with Michelle Trachtenberg (Marina Oswald) AND Ginnifer Goodwin (Jackie Kennedy).

Produced by Scott Free Productions, KILLING KENNEDY will take audiences deeper inside the story than ever before by examining the events that led both men to Dallas on that fateful day in November 1963, and by offering a rare and human look at the people at the center of it all.

Directed by Nelson McCormick ("The West Wing," "ER," "Southland," "The Good Wife," "The Closer"), with a teleplay by award-winning playwright and screenwriter Kelly Masterson ("Before the Devil Knows You're Dead"), the stellar cast also includes Jack Noseworthy (Robert F. Kennedy), Francis Guinan (Lyndon B. Johnson) and Richard Flood (Kenneth O'Donnell).
