2013 Annual Conference dates are October 10-12. The official awards presentation will take place during official fundraising Founder's Gala on October 12, 2013.

In addition, The Chairman's Award and The Founder's Award will also be presented during the ceremony.
The Chairman's Award and Founders Circle Award recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves through a lifetime of achievements and contributions to the Hispanic community at large.
These are the only two awards that do not accept nominations, including self-nominations, and instead are selected and awarded by the original NSHMBA founders and current Chief Executive Officer.
"Though the winners' efforts speak for themselves, and the Hispanic community sees the results of their labors, and many benefit from their efforts directly, it's important to recognize these individuals and companies for their outstanding work," stated Manny Gonzalez, NSHMBA Chief Executive Officer.
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs established the Brillante Awards for Excellence in 1989; the awards are given to bright, radiant, and shining leaders who illuminate the paths for many ambitious MBAs, while radiating positive energy to encourage and motivate others. In addition to the Founder's Gala tickets, winners receive a custom designed award; a seal to post on their website; recognition on the NSHMBA website, its official publications; NSHMBA magazine and The Bottom Line newsletter; and national press releases. Award recipients will also enjoy complimentary conference registration, and will have their airfare and hotel accommodations for the event provided by NSHMBA.
