VIENNA, Va., Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Fortune magazine announced today that Navy Federal Credit Union has been ranked #95 on their 15th annual list of The 100 Best Companies To Work For. Navy Federal was selected for this prestigious recognition in 2008 and has the distinction of being the only credit union to have ever been selected for the list. The primary criteria for inclusion on the list is whether a company's employees say their organization is a great place to work. Two-thirds of the scoring is based on employees' responses to a randomly distributed survey, which measures the levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie within their workplace. In other words, employees decide what companies are selected for the list. The remaining third is based on an analysis of the company's programs and practices compared with other applicants.
