ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), an engineering and technology solutions company providing information technology services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, has been awarded an estimated $2.4 million task order for the procurement, installation and testing required for the transition of C5I systems.
The project is part of the larger relocation effort of the technology-related Navy Cyber Forces team, which consists of the Fleet Cyber Command South (FCC South), the Navy Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM), the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) and the Navy Cyber Forces Command (NAVCYBERFOR).
"ESN stands 'shoulder-to-shoulder' with the Navy Cyber Forces team in its mission to provide resilient C5I capabilities to maximize fleet readiness," said ESN President and CEO Raymond F. Lopez, Jr. "Their mission is our mission, whether on sea or cyberspace."
The effort will entail the relocation of the related Navy Cyber Forces from Building 1265 in the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story in Norfolk, VA, to the unoccupied General Services Administration-leased facilities on the DOD complex in Suffolk, VA.
