Northeast Nebraska accounts for 26,267 industrial jobs, up 1%, while Southwest Nebraska accounts for 7,688, up 3.3% from a year ago. Second-ranked Lincoln accounts for 17,518 jobs, down a half percent over the year. Grand Island is currently home to 8,053 industrial jobs, down a half percent, following the closure of railroad tie manufacturer CXT, Inc.
