PARAMUS, N.J., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- NetWrix Corporation, the innovation leader in systems management and compliance solutions, today announced the NetWrix Change Reporter Suite – a comprehensive suite of auditing and compliance solutions for leading platforms. Now unified through a common new Enterprise Management Console (EMC), the NetWrix Change Reporter Suite combines change reporting products for Active Directory, Group Policy, file servers, SQL Server, Exchange and VMware into one, comprehensive auditing and compliance solution.
"Today's organizations have an increased focus on regulatory compliance adherence and require consistent auditing and reporting processes to assure that they maintain accurate records of all changes that may affect the security of their business," said Michael Fimin, president and CEO, NetWrix Corporation. "NetWrix Change Reporter Suite securely manages and reports on system changes, in a single unified console, while automating auditing and compliance processes so that organizations may prevent security breaches and reduce risk."
The NetWrix Change Reporter Suite features integrated reporting functionality which enables the consolidated viewing of all reports from a single console. This enables IT departments to simplify and automate their reporting, auditing and compliance processes while streamlining the results for multiple platforms into a common interface.
For Alaska State Legislature auditing Active Directory changes was a key challenge. The government agency has several independent groups of administrators managing their Active Directory environment and keeping track of changes was significant in the prevention of both numerous email storms and the unnecessary undoing of valid changes, due to misunderstandings between IT administrators. These issues stemmed from the department's inability to trace effectively the activities of 17 IT administrators back to their origins. The state's IT department selected NetWrix to solve their challenges.
"NetWrix tools are easy and very affordable," said Shay Wilson, network administrator of the Alaska State Legislature IT Department. "Anytime we have a question of how an account was changed, we can figure out who changed it and when, and find out from them why. This has prevented us from undoing changes that were necessary, but we didn't know why until we spoke to the admin who changed it." More information can be obtained from the case study.
NetWrix Change Reporter Suite combines into a single console new versions of NetWrix's market leading products each offering key new features including:
- NetWrix Active Directory Change Reporter, NetWrix Group Policy Change Reporter, NetWrix Exchange Change Reporter and NetWrix AD Object Restore Wizard – including new out-of-the-box support for multiple Active Directory domains, an Audit Configuration Wizard that automates the configuration or required audit settings in Active Directory, and improved support for Microsoft Exchange auditing.
