Following his residency, Dr. Simons underwent extensive specialty training by completing a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York.

Dr. Simons is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the International Congress of Joint Reconstruction.
