New Beginning To Offer CNA Training Beginning December 14
Six-week Courses Offer First-Class Entryway Into Nursing Profession
DENVER, Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New Beginning Nurse Assistant Program, an accredited Denver vocational school servicing the nursing industry, will begin it's next series of courses for aspiring certified nursing assistants (CNAs) on December 14, 2015.
The six-week course will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from December 14, 2015 – Jan. 18, 2016, at the New Beginning offices (6795 E. Tennessee Ave., Suite 210, Denver, 80224).
Students have the option of enrolling for morning or evening courses (9 a.m. – 2 p.m., or 5 – 10 p.m.).
Identified as one of Colorado's most in-demand careers, New Beginning is helping fill the pipeline of sought-after, certified and highly trained CNAs in Colorado and beyond.
Classes are taught by licensed nurses who hold valid, train-the-trainer or equivalent, certification.
Training consists of 46 hours of theory; 58 hours of laboratory skills; and 20 hours of clinical experience.
Upon program completion, graduates will then be ready to take the state certification examination from the Colorado State Board of Nurse Examiners.
The cost of the course is $1,200 for the six-week program.
In 2016, courses in medical billing and coding, and pharmacy technician will also be offered through the Cook Global Institute.
