Today, studios rush to release movie posters, relying on enhanced headshots and little creativity. Frustrated by the lack of imagination and quality, designers from across the world took it upon themselves to revive the lost art of film one-sheets by creating their own posters.

Matthew Chojnacki is an American writer focusing on film and music from Cleveland, Ohio. His first book, the award-winning "Put the Needle on the Record," is a collection of vinyl record sleeves from the 1980s, coupled with original commentary from over 125 musicians and designers. His favorite movie is "Dawn of the Dead" (1978).
