New Boutique Salon Focuses On Cleanliness, Customers, And Charity
Portion of proceeds during the month of March to benefit charity
LA GRANGE, Ill., March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Owner of the new Broken Nail Boutique, Patty Segura was tired of being disappointed by the unsanitary conditions and poor customer service over years of frequenting different nail salons, not to mention a few infections from improperly sterilized nail tools. "Many of these salons are very cheap and people think that because it's cheap, it's a bargain but is it really a bargain when you take into account the cost of treating that fungus or infection," said Patty, owner of Broken Nail Boutique. "I've also been to a salon that had a dead cockroach easily visible in the corner of the room and I thought to myself, why do people still go here." These experiences, brought Patty with her husband Allan, to open a salon that offers a unique experience to her guests.

Broken Nail Boutique is located on Burlington Ave in La Grange, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago. Patty brought on her childhood friend and experienced nail technician, Tomy, who boasts 13 years experience in an upscale salon in the Chicagoland area, to manage the salon.
The salon uses autoclaves for sterilization and disposes of nail files and buffers after every use. They utilize jetless tubs and disinfects their tubs with hospital grade disinfectant. Cleanliness and the overall experience of the guest are of utmost importance to them. "We treat each guest like they are long time friends" said Patty. "Most salons are missing one of those ingredients, either they aren't clean, or the quality of service is subpar or their customer service is just plain horrible." They believe the salon experience should be relaxing and enjoyable.
Broken Nail Boutique currently offers spa manicures, pedicures, paraffin treatments, nail enhancements, and will soon be adding waxing and facial services to their service offerings. They also carry their own line of signature products, including creams, scrubs, and oils, which they use during their services and are also available for purchase. Aside from their exclusive products, the salon uses those from Essie, CND shellac, CND vinylux, and Morgan Taylor. Next month they will begin carrying OPI products.
Patty Segura has a passion for charity and is steadfast in her desire to tie 3 of her favorite charities into her business. Those charities are Susan G. Komen, Care.org, which helps women in poverty, and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, for women who have been battered or sexually abused. "I have always felt that people should do more to help others," according to Patty. Broken Nail Boutique has just announced a portion of their proceeds during the month of March will benefit these three charities.
Based in La Grange,IL Broken Nail Boutique LLC offers an alternative to the assembly line salons that offer little differentiation from each other. Broken Nail Boutique is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service, unparalleled sanitation methods, and excpetional customer service.
