New Director of Development Leads MAYA Design's Interstacks Initiative

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- MAYA Design, a leading technology design and innovation lab, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Kiliany as director of development, Interstacks and engineering fellow. Kiliany will lead the development of MAYA's Interstacks technology, created to interconnect and control the increasing number of common products, services and environments that contain microprocessors.

Previously, Kiliany founded iKnowthat.com, a developer of Web-hosted multimedia learning activities integrated with social networking, a massively multiplayer virtual world and user-generated content.  Formerly, Kiliany co-founded Dynavox, a company dedicated to helping people with disabilities communicate and extend their reach.  He directed product development at Dynavox, which was acquired by Sunrise Medical in 1998 and recently spun out as a standalone public company.
