New Fantasy Novel Follows Vampire's Adventures

Sara Anne Grey is a vampire born in 1650s London. Contention opens to find Sara on Crete's dark and stormy coastline in the year 1760. Having exiled herself to the island to escape the eyes of man and slide back into the shadows, time has now healed some wounds and Sara thinks longingly of her beloved London.

After a brief trip to Boston, a young city which doesn't impress her very much, Sara heads to London in the same melancholy mood as before.
