New Feature Of TrackIf Helps Pinterest Users Track Availability And Price Changes For Their Pinned Products
Tool transforms dreamed about Pins into savings wins
MINNEAPOLIS, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TrackIf, the free personal web tracking tool, has launched a new AutoTracking system that will allow online shoppers to track their Pinterest boards using the TrackIf Browser Button. Pinned products are then tracked automatically, and users are alerted daily about pinned items that have gone on sale or are back in stock. Once a user tracks a Pinterest board, TrackIf instantly extracts all product Pins and begins tracking those products for future sales and stock availability alerts, along with creating a "Pinterest" list in the user's TrackIf account where all future pinned items are added and stored.
"Millions of people use Pinterest to Pin the products they want at all the sites they shop, and this new service will allow them to add power to their Pins by alerting them when anything goes on sale, or is back in stock," says Doug Berg, founder and chief tracker for TrackIf. "The app and web site has more than 400,000 users who track more than 1 million products at thousands of sites using the TrackIf Browser Button. With this new feature, Pinterest users only need to track their Pinterest board one time. Thereafter, they can use Pinterest as usual and TrackIf will automate price alerts."
Users also can use the TrackIf Browser Button to easily look up any Pinned product on Pinterest to see if it's on sale now or to view the price history from the original site or to see when or if the product has gone on sale in the past. Users also can find where any product might be on sale at thousands of other sites with one click of the TrackIf Browser Button.
Additionally, users can track the Pinterest boards of family and friends to get alerts on gift ideas, or they can track Pinterest boards from favorite sites or brands to get sales or deal alerts.
To try the new tool, users register free at TrackIf.com, which will show them how to install the TrackIf Browser Button into their browser. They then can visit Pinterest and track any Pinterest board with just one click. The TrackIf Button is supported on the Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.
TrackIf also features a mobile application for iOS and Android that allows users to find and track any product from thousands of stores online, allowing shoppers to instantly identify where products are on sale while in malls or stores, helping them to more quickly perform price comparison and matching.
