NORWOOD, N.J., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tony Sparber, founder of New Image Weight Loss Camps, thinks New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie could set a better example for young kids and teens regarding living a healthy lifestyle.
Sparber wrote an open letter to Christie explaining his reasoning in which he made Christie an appealing offer: the opportunity to spend a day at New Image Camp at Camp Pocono Trails in Reeders, Pennsylvania - to show him the success that Sparber is having with overweight kids that will hopefully inspire Christie to do the same.
In addition to the invitation to attend camp, Sparber offered Christie three-week scholarships to Camp Pocono Trails to give away to 5 kids-in-need.
Tony Sparber is a supporter and big fan of Governor Christie but is concerned for his long-term health and the physical example he is setting for today's youth.
The letter was sent to the office of the Governor last month. Christie has not yet made a formal statement about the letter.
Camp Pocono Trails is located on 350 private acres, with a lake and two swimming pools, and offers nutrition and cooking classes, boating, jet skiing, fitness training, drama, arts, field trips to NYC and other local places of interest, basketball, football, tennis, soccer, softball, golf, plus a staff of state-certified professional nutritionists and much more!
