New Jersey Health Foundation and the Office of Technology Licensing at Princeton University Team Up for Biomedical Research and Technology Projects
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Feb. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- New Jersey Health Foundation (NJHF) is pleased to announce the signing of an affiliation agreement with the Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) at Princeton University that allows both organizations to work together to develop opportunities to advance breakthrough biomedical research being conducted at Princeton.
"New Jersey Health Foundation's expertise and experience lies in the areas of funding research, commercializing intellectual property and forming, funding and managing start-up companies," explained James M. Golubieski, president of NJHF. The agreement also means that Princeton faculty and additional personnel who meet established criteria will be eligible to apply for Research and Innovation Grants awarded by New Jersey Health Foundation.
"The addition of Princeton adds strength to the whole New Jersey Health Foundation network as we plan to work with our affiliated organizations to develop unique collaborations," noted George F. Heinrich, M.D, vice chair and CEO of New Jersey Health Foundation. "We are also looking to grow our affiliate network by adding other organizations involved in developing innovative research so that we can collaborate as a larger group on exciting projects that advance science within the state."
