New Juicepresso Platinum Cold Press Juicer Makes Sorbets & Smoothies Too
Same Easy-Clean, One-Piece Extraction System as the Original Juicepresso Juicer
CHICAGO, March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Juicepresso®, the only cold press juicer with a one-piece extraction system for easy cleaning and reassembly, is introducing a new Juicepresso Platinum model that doubles as a sorbet and smoothie maker. The Platinum product will also offer new feed tube and ejection spout designs for faster and drip-proof juicing, along with 40% more juice volume, 72-hour juice life and better nutrient retention provided by the power of cold pressing as well as an extra-gentle 40 RPM motor that is unique in the space.
The new product will ship in the third quarter and will be on display at Juicepresso's Booth #L12327 at the 2015 International Home + Housewares Show running March 7-10 in Chicago.
Faster to Clean & Reassemble
Like the original Juicepresso, the Platinum will feature the company's patented three-in-one extraction system merging the auger, strainer and rotating brush components that do the heavy lifting of a cold press juicer into a single, dishwasher-safe, BPA-free unit resembling a screw. There is no need to wash multiple internal parts by hand or put them back together like a jigsaw puzzle. To wash, simply pull the unit out of the drum, rinse it, and stick it in the dishwasher.
New Sorbet/Smoothie Attachment
New to the Platinum will be an attachment that can be used to make sorbets and smoothies, conserving both money and countertop space by eliminating the need for an extra appliance. Switching between juice and sorbet/smoothie mode will take just seconds, requiring nothing more than removal of the screen at the bottom of the extraction screw and replacing it with the new accessory. The motor will also be upgraded to handle frozen fruits and ice.
New Design Features
Other features debuting on the Platinum include a wider, slanted chute design that will minimize prep time by accommodating larger fruit and vegetable pieces while also allowing them to slide into the drum by gravity. In addition, a new juice cap will keep juice in the cylinder without drips and dribbles until juicing is complete.
