LAS VEGAS, Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- New Media event producer BlogWorld announced today that Inventing the Future, the new program from media visionary Robert Tercek, will be a highlighted keynote session of its 2013 New Media Expo and BusinessNext Social in Las Vegas on January 8, 2013. The debut episode of the show will be filmed live on stage, marking the first time in history that a closing keynote has been a live television show.
The show's first episode will be filmed live in front of thousands of new media content creators and thought leaders in marketing, mobile, social and web technology. Tercek and his partner Barry Krause, CEO and Founder of Suite Partners, Inc. and its LiveLab Network, will transport the entire set for Inventing the Future across country from Chicago for the event.
BlogWorld CEO Rick Calvert is thrilled with this pairing. "We're so honored that Inventing the Future has selected New Media Expo and BusinessNext Social for its premiere episode. This a great example of what our conferences are all about: the marriage of new media content and digital commerce to create a rich, interactive entertainment experience for audiences and marketers that want to reach a highly engaged audience."
Unlike any program before it, Inventing the Future will converge live experiential and social media interaction with real time optimization to delve deeply into what's next after what's next. "Inventing the Future is not exactly a TV show," said Robert Tercek. "Think of it more like an example of what comes next after TV. It's a show that is designed, from the ground up, to incorporate social media, gaming, and live interactive features that will give the audience a meaningful way to participate."
New Media Expo and BusinessNext Social take place concurrently January 6-8, 2013 at Las Vegas's Rio Conference Center. Other announced speakers include UFC President Dana White, author and entrepreneur Guy Kawasaki, social media investors Tyler & Cameron Winkelvoss, and over 150 other thought leaders from new media, IT, PR, marketing, and social media.
