New Online Forum Allows Users to Get Drug Free Workplace Help
ATLANTA, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Council on Alcohol and Drugs, a 40-year-old 501(c)3 nonprofit agency, has created a new (free!) online drug free workplace forum offering targeted tools for business owners, human resource managers, safety directors, and other professionals who manage and supervise a certified drug free workplace. This unique forum brings together information on a broad range of drug free workplace topics, and allows users to get the information they need to maintain their drug free workplace program. The free online forum is available at: www.drugfreeworkplace.proboards.com.
Many states offer state-mandated discounts on workers' compensation insurance to companies that implement a drug free workplace program. This is the first-ever online community that will enable drug free workplace managers to network with other professionals and discuss the requirements of setting up and maintaining a state certified drug free workplace.
"Since the Council expanded its drug free workplace services nationwide, we have been overwhelmed by people in need of information and support," said Leanne Mulherin, Vice President of the Drug Free Workplace Division at The Council on Alcohol and Drugs. "By providing a free resource where businesspeople can ask questions and discuss their drug free workplace issues, this online community will be of tremendous value to the hundreds of thousands of drug free workplaces in the U.S. This new forum will also make it possible for Council members to network with business professionals from around the country that they otherwise would not have an opportunity to meet."
The Council on Alcohol and Drugs encourages everyone to join the new online forum, ask questions, read the articles, download helpful materials, and get to know the other forum members. Please visit: www.drugfreeworkplace.proboards.com.
