LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The new Footspot mobile app has arrived, launching to change the way we plan events and parties. With the app, users can create free and paid events for their friends to attend as well as take and post combined videos and pictures throughout the night to share with their inner circle. This new app combines the features of social media and ticketing event industries in one app as users can create an event in a live map section, invite followers and share videos, pictures and voice notes.

Within the Footspot app, you are entered into a new social media world where users are known as spotting and their followers as spotters. Users can add their contacts to the app and have their friends, family and others follow them. The app allows users to find contacts via their username or by geographic location and send invites to those they want to add. Once a contact accepts 'spotting the user', then this new spotter is added to an established group, which can be broken down by any special group name that is created for optimal organization.

The Footspot app then allows users to create free events or paid events. Within the live map section, a simple tap of a pin allows users to choose a location and date for the event as well as details such as start/end times and whether it's a free/paid event. If it's a paid event, the user can then set the ticket price. Once the event is set up, the user then chooses the spotters they wish to attend and the app sends an invitation automatically. Spotters simply click that they are going if they chose to attend.

"The Footspot app combines the best of social media and event ticketing into one easy to use mobile app that can be used for all kinds of events," says Nathan and Ryane Bin Mahfooz, creators of the Footspot app. "From house parties to private events at bars and clubs, the Footspot app helps users create the event, even earn money from the event, and then share video and photos with spotters."

Earning money through creating events is one of the unique features of the app. The app has made planning and creating an event as easy as a few taps on the phone. Set-up, communicate with organizers, invite friends, socialize, promote, and receive payments are now all seamlessly planned and executed through Footspot.

Users can also choose to show their current location on the live map. This allows users of the app to spot their friends and easily set up events and invite others in the moment or at a later scheduled time. The Footspot app also provides easy video, photo and voice sharing. Simply tapping and holding the picture icon, a user can take a photo and record their voice within that photo. There is no need to switch between photo and video mode as the options are right there and available allowing the users to take both photo and video in one content and send it to their spotters together rather than sending photos and video separately. From start to finish Footspot is there with you throughout the night, allowing you to focus on enjoying the night.

The Footspot app finally makes creating and sharing events simple and seamless.

The app is now available through the Apple iTunes App Store and Google Play. To learn more, visit Footspot.com.
