New Women's Health Company, Kindbody, Makes Its Debut on the West Coast Today

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Kindbody, a new women's healthcare company is launching today in the Bay Area with its mobile fertility pop-up. Kindbody, led by former Founder/CEO of Progyny, Gina Bartasi, is building a national network of boutique women's healthcare facilities through pop-up and brick-and-mortar locations, with technology and patient experience at its core.

Complimentary fertility tests and consultations will be offered at Kindbody's mobile fertility pop-up in Palo Alto today, from 11am-6pm, at University and Emerson. On Thursday, September 27th, the mobile fertility pop-up will make its debut in San Francisco, from 10am-7pm, at 101 Mission Street. Kindbody launched in New York City in August and has already held mobile fertility pop-ups in Flatiron and Midtown, Manhattan, as well as the Hamptons.

"To truly improve outcomes and experience, we know the discussion about women's health must start earlier and with their gynecologist," commented Founding Physician Dr. Fahimeh Sasan, who joined Kindbody this summer after a decade at Mount Sinai. "From our first three events, we've performed 386 fertility assessments, 99 of the 386, or 26% of those tested, had AMH scores of less than 1, which is a leading indication of low ovarian reserve. More astonishing is that 53 of the 99, or 53%, who tested low were under the age of 35." Kindbody's mission is to democratize care making it more convenient and more affordable for more patients.

Bartasi's team is an all-star roster including co-founders Dr. Sasan, Joanne Schneider and Cynthia Hudson, as well as veteran executives from Flatiron Health, Google, Oscar Health, Mount Sinai Hospital, and One Medical.

Schneider, a former San Francisco resident who leads Product for Kindbody added, "Bay Area patients not only embrace technology, they demand it.
