The SAP Connection Discovery for Public Services application can provide a single comprehensive view of business data from multiple systems and data sources. It includes an open platform where any type of data can be incorporated to discover and visualize patterns in connected networks. This application is expected to be one of the first industry solutions built on SAP HANA extended application services, a completely reengineered application server for native development of applications on the SAP HANA platform. It brings dramatic architectural improvements with microservices.
"Connection discovery is completing the picture by providing an advanced product for any type of user who needs to explore data relationships in real time in order to help save lives, reduce harm, track resources and minimize loss," said Martin Klein, global head, Public Sector Industry Business Unit, SAP. "It will reveal previously unconsidered dynamics between people, objects, locations and events in a wide variety of scenarios."
