AMSTERDAM, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced the general availability of the latest package of user experience enhancements for the SAP® ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution. Deliveries earlier this year focused on a new, more intuitive user experience for managers and employees; the latest shipment extends these innovations to the human resources (HR) professional roles. The announcement was made at the HR Tech Europe Conference & Expo 2012, being held October 25-26 in Amsterdam.

The improvements are designed with an emphasis on the needs and expectations of today's users. More than a new user interface (UI), the capabilities enable HR professionals to organize and initiate tasks quickly and easily. Users can more effectively execute HR processes with minimal clicks and easy access to processes and data with contextual search navigation. They can also automatically receive alerts, reminders and key performance indicators (KPIs), and leverage social networking and collaboration. Across employee, manager and HR professional roles and within a single Web-based UI, customers have an improved and consistent user experience for SAP ERP HCM, whether entering new hire information, changing an address, executing an HR process or approving leave.

"With these updates, SAP underscores its commitment to deliver innovations that enable our customers to better leverage and extend their investments in the on-premise product line," said David Ludlow , group vice president, Line-of-Business Solutions, Human Resources, SAP.
