NFL Players Association Selects Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) Software to Support 'The Trust'
BALTIMORE, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The NFL Players Association (NFLPA), the union for the players of the National Football League, has selected Social Solutions' Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) software to prove good intent and measure the impact of its newly-launched initiative, The Trust.
The Trust is designed to provide an ecosystem of support for former players, with an emphasis on overall health and successful transition from professional football. The Trust staff counsels players through a wellness plan across six primary pillars: Brain and Body Health, Career Transition and Development, Education and Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, and Personal Interaction.
ETO software provides The Trust with a centralized system to coordinate efforts between its service partners as well as track progress toward goals and achievement of outcomes by its members, former NFL players.
"Social Solutions has been integral in the creation of The Trust," said Bahati VanPelt, Executive Director of The Trust. "The software designed specifically for The Trust has allowed us to seamlessly integrate all of our resources and streamline communication between our staff, our former players and our partners."
"We are proud to be selected by NFLPA as they launch The Trust and work to provide former players with the support and tools they need to ensure success in life after their NFL careers," said Scott Johnson, CEO of Social Solutions. "The selection of ETO software for The Trust speaks to the platform's ability to support an expansive network of partners to provide comprehensive social, health and wellness services to clients. We look forward to supporting The Trust in its efforts to provide impactful services to former NFL players."
