CARMEL, Ind., May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- n|Frame, Indianapolis's leading provider of data center colocation, cloud computing, managed hosting services and network connectivity announced they are transitioning n|Frame to the name of their regionally based and long time commonly owned sister company, "Expedient Data Centers" (Expedient). The businesses have been commonly owned and operated since 2007, but had previously retained their individual brand names. "Simplicity for customers is the primary driver of this decision," said Indianapolis based Regional Vice President, Ray Vallillo. In addition to the Indianapolis Data Center; Expedient operates eight (8) Data Centers in five (5) other cities; Baltimore (2), Boston (1), Cleveland (2), Columbus (1) and Pittsburgh (2). Over the last few years, all the market names have been gradually converted to the Expedient brand name. "More and more businesses are placing a very high value on the reliability afforded with geographic diversity, especially with the rapid adoption of cloud computing. As a result, many of our customers are taking advantage of the interconnected multi-market data center solutions we offer; our 9 facilities actually function as one, seamlessly interconnected data center enabled by a fully redundant, 10Gig Fiber network," explained Shawn McGorry, President and COO of Expedient. "We decided that the adoption of the common brand was the logical next step to eliminate confusion and streamline communications for customers. However, we have approached these transitions thoughtfully and with sensitivity to the strong reputation of the existing brands, and that is especially true for n|Frame here in Indiana," added McGorry.
This phase of the company's brand transition will be explained through a series of letters and emails from Regional Vice President, Ray Vallillo, emphasizing that the change is in "name only" since there will be no change to local operating practices or any change of ownership. n|Frame will continue to offer the most reliable and comprehensive suite of IT solutions in the area and remains committed to providing local on-site support 24x7. In all correspondence, the company will feature both the n|Frame and Expedient logos. Over time, the n|Frame name will become less prominent and the Expedient name will be more featured, with a final adoption of the Expedient name exclusively, expected by January 2014.
"Due to the close working relationships we have with our customers, most of them are already well aware and comfortable that n|Frame and Expedient are actually one in the same company. Therefore, we are confident that formalizing the name change is the right next step for our company. The name 'Expedient Data Centers' is nationally recognized and is generally considered the clear market leader for Managed Hosting Services in the cities we serve," stated Vallillo.
