Niacet Opens Office in Singapore

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., Oct. 15, 2018 ­/PRNewswire/ -- Niacet Corporation, the global leader in salts of acetic and propionic acid, serving the food, pharmaceutical, animal nutrition and technical market sectors, today announced the opening of an office in Singapore. The company said Clarissa Neo had been hired to run the new operation.

"We have had a presence in Asia through our channel market partners, but we thought we needed closer proximity to both support our partners and better meet our customers' needs," said Kelly Brannen, CEO of Niacet Corp. "With the opening of our Singapore office, we expect to see significant growth in the Asian market."

Brannen said the company currently services the European market from its facilities in Tiel, the Netherlands and services the Americas through its corporate headquarters in Niagara Falls, N.Y., USA.

"Our growth globally has been strong and we expect that to continue as we promote new products like our industry-leading Provian NDV line, a clean label next generation antimicrobial for the meat industry," said Brannen. "We expect great results for Provian in Asia, which was a key factor in the decision to establish the Singapore office."

Brannen said Clarissa Neo, a food industry veteran, was brought on board to run the Singapore office and oversee the Asian strategy. Ms. Neo has spent the last seven years as Business Manager at Brenntag Pte Ltd. and prior to that, was with Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.
