NMSDC President To Speak At ISM's Women Executive Summit
NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Joset B. Wright, president of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. ® (NMSDC®), will be among the speakers at the Institute for Supply Management's 5th Annual Women Executive Supply Management Summit on Wednesday, February 6, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ms. Wright will participate in a session titled Your Secret Weapon from 9:30 – 11 a.m. The session will highlight the benefits of NMSDC certification and the value NMSDC-certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American-owned minority businesses (MBEs) bring to the global corporate supply chain. Nina Vaca , founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Pinnacle Technical Resources, an Hispanic-owned firm certified by NMSDC, will join in the session and share her perspective on the role NMSDC and its corporate members have played in building her company into a $160 million enterprise.
Ms. Wright will also participate in the Executive Roundtable Networking session from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. The session features women executives as well as executives participating in ISM's Black Executive Supply Management Summit, being held concurrently with the women's summit. The roundtable session will give attendees an opportunity to interact with supply management executives in a question-and-answer format.
ISM's Women Executive Supply Management Summit is designed for women executives, their direct reports and those interested in building a career in supply management. The event is being held February 5-7 at the Doubletree Hilton New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
