NOBEL Systems™ Launches RecallBuzz.com
Site Keeps Consumers Aware of Vehicle Recall Announcements
TINTON FALLS, N.J., July 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In order to assist consumers in staying safe and up to date with the latest automotive recalls, NOBEL Systems™ announced today that it has launched a new website called RecallBuzz (www.RecallBuzz.com).
Consumers are now just a click away from finding out if their vehicle has a past or current recall notice. By simply entering in a vehicle ID number (VIN) or vehicle make, model and year, RecallBuzz produces the latest details available to quickly keep consumers informed. Future recall notices can also alert consumers in an instant via RecallBuzz's free email and SMS text message alerts.
RecallBuzz is powered by VINSmart® a product of NOBEL Systems™. As an authorized National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS*) consumer access provider, VINSmart offers an inexpensive and simple way for consumers to retrieve vehicles' comprehensive history and value reports. The NMVTIS has a mission to safeguard consumers by helping to prevent fraudulent and dangerous vehicles from being resold or retitled.
"Safety is a growing concern as millions of vehicles are identified as eligible for recalls each and every year," said Julie Gomes, senior creative designer and marketing manager at NOBEL System™. "We are proud to launch RecallBuzz today and are confident that this free and reliable service will play a vital role in keeping consumers informed and their vehicles current and on track for safe driving."

*What is NMVTIS?
The National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) was established under the Anti Car Theft Act of 1992 and was reauthorized under the Anti Car Theft Improvements Act of 1996. The Department of Justice (DOJ) is responsible for the oversight of the NMVTIS program. The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) operates NMVTIS on behalf of the DOJ. NMVTIS is intended to protect consumers from fraud and unsafe vehicles and to keep stolen vehicles from being resold.
It is a tool that assists states and law enforcement in deterring and preventing vehicle-related crimes. The system captures specific pieces of vehicle information from state motor vehicle titling agencies, automobile recyclers, junk and salvage yards, and insurance carriers into one system. NMVTIS is the only vehicle history database in the nation to which ALL states, insurance carriers, and junk and salvage yards are required by federal law to report.
