Nominees Announced For Prestigious ScentWorld 2013 Smitty Awards
Awards Honor Innovative Individuals and Companies for Excellence in Scent and Sensory Marketing
NEW YORK, Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ScentWorld, LLC announced today the distinguished nominees for the SMItty Awards. The award winners will be named at the ScentWorld 2013 annual conference. The global event takes place February 6-8, at the Marriott Downtown in the heart of New York City's Financial District. The SMItty Awards will be presented to recipients at the Gala Dinner on the evening of February 7. Noted author, Director and Curator of the Center of Olfactory Art at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City, Chandler Burr, will deliver the Gala keynote address.

Harald Vogt Scent Marketer of the Year - The award is named for the late ScentWorld founder and industry pioneer Harald Vogt.

Best Sensory Marketing Campaign - The award is designated for the most creative and effective sensory marketing campaign, with the use of scent and/or sensory marketing.

- Tracy Pepe of Nose Knows Design for YSmell Project
Most Innovative Use of Scent Marketing - The award will go to the brand owner who has implemented an outstanding use of scent, in a way that is new and unexpected.
- Shania Twain for concert scenting
Scent Technology Innovation Award - The award will be presented to the company that has created and marketed the most innovative new scent technology product or process.
- Scentandrea for Scent Halo Light
- Exhalia for scented POP for Colgate Palmolive
- Scent2Market for scent squared machines innovation
