AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Charity Dynamics, a provider of comprehensive online marketing and fundraising solutions for nonprofits, today announced that nonprofit industry professional Dolores McDonagh has joined the company as vice president of consulting.
McDonagh brings to Charity Dynamics a deep understanding for how today's nonprofit organizations operate and the marketing, fundraising and advocacy strategies they need to embrace for ongoing success. With more than 25 years experience in direct response fundraising and marketing, McDonagh has crafted and implemented numerous strategic programs for organizations spanning the nonprofit sector.
Prior to joining Charity Dynamics, McDonagh served 15 years at the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP), most recently in the role of vice president for membership. While at NTHP, she helped modernize the organization's advocacy, fundraising and engagement efforts by integrating innovative online and social media strategies with the nonprofit's existing programs. In addition to her organizational experience, McDonagh served as vice president of consulting for Bachurski Associates, where she provided full service consulting services to numerous organizations, from the Nature Conservancy and the National Museum of Women in the Arts to the American Trial Lawyers Association and Brown University.
"Dolores has an extensive and proven track record for creating and implementing integrated marketing, fundraising and advocacy strategies that move the needle for nonprofit organizations," said Donna Wilkins, president and founder of Charity Dynamics. "Put simply—she 'gets it.' Her ability to quickly understand an organization's range of needs and develop programs that blend proven traditional and online techniques will be extremely valuable for the growing number of nonprofits that we serve."
Charity Dynamics provides consulting services to more than 160 nonprofits, including NTHP where McDonagh was a member of senior management. The company helps organizations create and implement results-driven, integrated strategies through online programs, live and virtual events, social media and mobile solutions.
"Having been a longtime Charity Dynamics client myself, I know firsthand the quality of services and innovative techniques that the company consistently delivers to nonprofits," said McDonagh.
