WILLOWBROOK, Ill., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Nordic Energy Services, LLC, an independently owned Alternative Retail Electric Supplier (ARES), as certified by the Illinois Commerce Commission, announces it has finalized an agreement to provide natural gas delivery and consulting services to the City of Chicago's Department of General Services, which manages the maintenance and operation of city properties.
Under the five-year agreement, Nordic will manage the natural gas deliveries and storage inventories for approximately 400 city facilities. The company will also advise the city on strategic long-term purchasing opportunities.

Nordic has assembled two subcontractors that are Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) as certified by the City of Chicago to perform various tasks outlined in the scope of services.
