SEATTLE, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc., (NYSE: JWN) announced today plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at Station Park in Farmington, Utah. The approximately 29,000 square-foot store is expected to open in fall 2013.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., carrying on-trend merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50 to 60 percent off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers a wide selection of apparel, accessories and shoes from many of the brands carried in Nordstrom stores. These items are purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, with most at savings of 30 to 70 percent off.
Nordstrom currently operates two Rack stores and two full-line stores in the greater Salt Lake City area. "Station Park is a fantastic center and we hope this new store will make it more convenient for our customers in the northern suburbs of Salt Lake City to shop with us," said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack. "We are thrilled to give customers another Nordstrom shopping destination."
Station Park is a one million square-foot open-air center offering upscale retail, dining, and entertainment. The center is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate 15 and Legacy Parkway in the community of Farmington, twenty miles north of Salt Lake City. The new Nordstrom Rack will join a strong mix of tenants at Station Park including Marshalls, Ross, HomeGoods, and H&M, among others.
