Northern California McDonald's® Offers Free Breakfast To Local Customers
McDonald's restaurants in the greater Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto area allow customers to nominate friends and family members for opportunity to win free breakfast
SACRAMENTO, Calif., May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonald's® customers in the Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto region now have the opportunity to nominate friends and family for a free breakfast from McDonald's that will be delivered directly to them.
Beginning the week of May 17, customers can nominate a friend, family member or co-worker for a free breakfast consisting of either a Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddles® or an Egg McMuffin®, accompanied with a hash browns and small coffee. Nominators can send up to 10 breakfasts to the nominee and their co-workers which will be delivered to any non-residential address in participating counties.
"This is the first time we've allowed our customers in Northern California to send their friends, family, or co-workers a free breakfast from McDonald's that is actually delivered right to them," said local McDonald's restaurant owner Steve Ramirez. "We hope everyone in the Sacramento region will nominate someone deserving of a delicious McDonald's breakfast that they can share with their fellow co-workers and start the day off right."
Customers in the Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto region can nominate individuals for free breakfast on their mobile devices or on Twitter. Nominations will conclude on May 31. In order to nominate, customers can either:
- Text the phrase "amlove" to 24587 where they will receive a message with a link which will take them to the nominating webpage
- Send a tweet on Twitter using the hashtag #ncalAMshares where they will receive a tweet back with the link to the nominating webpage
Winners of free breakfast will be selected on a first come first serve basis and deliveries will happen in McDonald's branded cars starting June 1 and ending on June 6 during McDonald's breakfast hours.

Customers residing in the following Northern California counties are eligible to nominate individuals for free breakfast, which are:
- Sacramento
- Placer
- Nevada
- Sutter
- Yuba
- Yolo
- El Dorado (not including S. Lake Tahoe restaurants)
- Solano (not including restaurants west of Fairfield)
- San Joaquin
- Stanislaus
- Amador
- Calaveras
- Tuolumne
- Colusa
