NQ Mobile(TM) and Smartfren Launch Preloaded Mobile Security App, "Smartshield"

DALLAS and BEIJING, March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- NQ Mobile (NYSE: NQ), a leading global provider of mobile Internet services, today announced a new preload agreement with PT Smartfren Telecom, Tbk (Smartfren), the largest CDMA/EVDO telecommunications operator in Indonesia. The deal broadens distribution of NQ Mobile's award-winning privacy and security apps through pre-installation on Smartfren's Android smartphones as well as through its app store. NQ Mobile Security will be available from Smartfren under the name "Smartshield."

Smartfren began preinstallation of Smartshield and NQ Mobile's privacy app on new devices earlier this month. For existing Android users, both apps will be also available through the Smartfren Appstore. Smartfren has about 12.5 million subscribers and expects to sell more than three million Android smartphones in 2014.
