NTT Com was evaluated for the completeness of its vision and its execution capabilities.
Gartner's Magic Quadrant report evaluates service providers for the completeness of their vision and their ability to execute those visions. According to Gartner, "Leaders have a full portfolio of voice and data products, coupled with above-average service and support, wide global coverage, and competitive pricing. They have a strong vision that includes adopting more information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities, which is a strategy they articulate clearly and openly."

NTT Com's recent initiatives include the acquisition of Virtela Technology Services Incorporated (Virtela), a leading global managed and cloud network services company based in Denver, Colorado, USA. The combination of NTT Com's high-quality service and Virtela's advanced, highly efficient operational know-how, as well as the expansion of service availability, is allowing NTT Com to offer high-quality Internet services through access lines enabled by Virtela's globally standardized service provision structure.
