Ms. Sakhia was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Canada's premier specialty pharmaceutical company, Paladin Labs Inc. (Paladin), for 14 years. As a senior member of the Paladin management team, Ms. Sakhia was instrumental in executing in-licensing and acquisition transactions of Canadian and international pharmaceutical products and businesses. During her tenure, Paladin achieved remarkable growth, increasing in value from $75.0 million to over $3.0 billion in 2014 when it was acquired by Endo International plc. Ms. Sakhia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration in Strategy and Marketing from McGill University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
