NVTC Announces 2011 Hot Ticket Award Finalists and Winners

Annual Event Puts the Spotlight on the Region's "Hot" Technology Companies

HERNDON, Va., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) announced today the winners of the 10^th Annual NVTC Hot Ticket Awards, honoring the region's best and brightest entrepreneurial technology companies.  More than 550 members of the Northern Virginia technology community came out to celebrate the nominated companies, poolside at the home of NVTC's President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg.

The awards program was emceed by Steve Balistreri of "Smoking Hot Sponsor" Argy Wiltse & Robinson and Carl Grant of "Smoking Hot Sponsor" Cooley LLP.  The judges for the 2011 Hot Ticket Awards included: Mary Dridi, Edwin Miller of 9 Lenses, Gene Riechers of Valhalla Partners, Matt Schrader of Dutko Worldwide, Mark Spoto of Razor's Edge Ventures and Sever Totia of Edison Venture Fund.
