Nyotron's PARANOID Receives Advanced Threat Defense Certification from ICSA Labs
Detects All Unknown Threats Without Using Any Signatures or Machine Learning
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Nyotron, provider of the industry's first OS-Centric Positive Security solution to strengthen endpoint protection, today announced that the company's PARANOID solution was tested by ICSA Labs, a division of Verizon, and certified to meet Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) Criteria v.1.0 standards by detecting 100 percent of lesser known and unknown threats. Nyotron also announced it has joined the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization (AMTSO).
ICSA Labs ATD testing is designed to test a solution's ability to detect new and unknown threats that are typically missed by standard endpoint security solutions. According to the ICSA Labs report, "The Nyotron PARANOID platform detected 100.0% of the threats it encountered during testing, considerably better than the percentage required for certification."
